All of our puppies are born inside our home surrounded by our family. Our aim in breeding is quality not quantity. Therefore we spent all of our love and care on those puppies. Our dogs and our breeding program are our pride and joy. We care about each puppy that is raised at our kennel so we choose only the best homes for our puppies. Our puppies only go to homes where they will be loved as a family member.
All of our puppies will be under the care of our veterinarian who makes sure that the puppies are well and up to date with all their medical needs. Puppies will be dewormed and vaccinated on recommended schedule and will be micro-chipped before they go to their new homes.
In breeding we use EARLY NEUROLOGICAL STIMULATION - ENS program, called also BIO SENSOR, performed between weeks one and two.. The benefits have been observed in puppies that were exposed to the Bio Sensor stimulation exercises: Improved cardio performance, Stronger heartbeats, Stronger adrenal glands, More tolerance to stress, Greater resistance to disease.
Stimulated pups are more active and more exploratory , in simple problem-solving tests are less disturbed or upset by test conditions, more calm in the test environment.
Our puppy socialization program starts earlier than most, typically before the puppies are even one week old, but the most critical time to ensure puppies are properly socialized is between 4 and 6 weeks, so puppies will be exposed to different surfaces frequently, which is crucial for their future development.
Some of the ways we socialize our puppies are:
- Place whelping area close to high occupancy area
- Introduce to many different people of all ages
- Introduce to different dogs of all sizes
- Puppy meet and greets at our home
- Visit neighbors with and without dogs
- Going to the park, walking on a leash, visiting the city, learning about traffic, noises and other environment, car rideing.
- Going to the Veterinarian, just to visit. This serves two purposes, they become familiar with the smell and they won't be afraid when it comes time to go for a check-up
During the 2nd Socialization Period, when the puppy is around 8-11 weeks of age,it is important to be aware of Fear-Impact Period. If puppies have “bad” or scary experiences during this time, the impressions are likely to last a lifetime and resurface during maturity. We protect puppies, who are still staying with us from these long-term effects by avoiding bad experiences.
At 7 weeks of age, all puppies will be temperament tested and I will make recommendations for the best match with families. Therefore filling out a puppy questionnaire is very important to assure the best match of a puppy to a family.
From the age of 12 weeks onwards when baby is not as sensitive any more, the new owners must repeat everything the puppy has learned in primary socialization, and also proceed working with the puppy in further socialization. Some things have to be repeated several times, others less often, depends upon the nature of each puppy.
Puppies may go home to their new homes at 2 months of age only at new owner request. If puppy stay with us until they are 3 months and more old, puppy will go through an intense socialization program.
Our dogs are fed a combination of the highest quality dog food and a variety of raw meat.
There will be often postings of puppy photos and videos to view puppy's development in progress.
